Squat circular with melon-fluted sides and very elaborate handles formed as panthers savaging snakes and terminating in demonic masks, domed cover with lift-out flower finial attached to a pierced cylinder to release the steam, shell, scroll and foliate borders on shaped square pedestal foot raised on ball and claw supports, spigot with shell and scroll-embellished tap, front inscribed with initials DSL
