Lot Essay

Approximately seven costume studies including Japanese ladies in traditional dress with umbrellas, a Japanese mother carrying her child, priests and a Japanese man in traditional straw raincoat. The remainder are landscapes including views around Yokohama, Kyoto, 'Ojigoku', Hakone, and Tokyo, several river scenes and two images of tradespeople.
