Lot Essay

One album contains views around Lushi, an image of the tomb of a Lushi Chief, group portraits of officers on a Lushi expedition; a group portrait of tennis players at Dacca; river scenes in 'Mooghley'; images of bullock carts and portraits of tradespeople. The second album includes several views around Calcutta, 'Mussoorie', 'Muree', 'Cashmere' and Darjeeling; and a group portrait of Sir Donald Stewart and other officers of Port Blair.
