The collection includes:

Body fittings (the majority chrome, but some black) such as rewind knobs, rewind shafts, exposure counter dials, release arms, shutter speed dials, accessories shoes, camera strap lugs, rangefinder mirrors, ground glass screens, slow speed dials, sprocket wheels, gears, ball bearings, springs, release guards, delay timer levers, viewfinder rings, flash contacts, ASA discs, take-up spools, winding levers, shutter assemblies, cam plates, locking levers, delayed-action levers, washers and plates, viewfinder frame levers, meter parts, spacers, batery holders, synchronisation sockets, arrow heads, eyepiece shields, body leathers and others

Tools: Leitz repair tools including special-purpose tools including screwdrivers, punches, body part releases, the majority engraved with the relevent Leitz part number

Repair manuals and spare sheets: M3, IIIf, IIIg, IIIC, IIIa, Leitz lenses, M2, M4-2, M-motor, M4, M5 and M3

Body shells: including factory-new black and chrome M and screw-fit body shells

Engraving plates: including official Leica body fonts

This workshop collection was assembled by the Hove Camera Company who, for many years, were the only independent (and Leitz authorised) repair workshop. The company had a worldwide reputation for their work. With the takeover of the company by the London camera retailer R. G. Lewis the workshop was moved. It was subsequently purchased by the present vendor.

The majority of parts relate to the following Leica models IIIf, If, IIf, IIIc, IIc, Ig, IIIg, M models, CL, SL and Visoflex.
