VARIOUS MAKER'S MARKS, LONDON, LATE 18TH-19TH CENTURIES
Each fully marked, comprising a reticulated basket with swing handle, maker's mark 'W*', 1766; a small gravy boat, monogramed, maker's mark indistinct, 1777; a helmet-form cream jug with beaded rim, maker's mark indistinct, 1790; a butter warmer with wood handle and incised with two crests, marked for Alexander Field, 1803; a small mug on footed base, marked for Peter and William Bateman, 1805; a tea sugar box with hinged cover, maker's mark indistinct, 1810; a small beaker with silver-gilt interior, maker's mark 'WP', 1823; and a small handled cup, marked for John Newton Mappin and George Webb, 1877
