A LATE VICTORIAN ROSEWOOD, SATINWOOD AND SYCAMORE MARQUETRY DESK

Decorated overall with scrolling acanthus, fruiting cornucopiae, mask heads and dolphins, the kidney shaped top inset with a later gilt-tooled red leather writing surface above three frieze drawers and a kneehole, flanked to each side by four short drawers, the sides and reverse similarly profusely inlaid, on square tapering feet with brass caps and castors
