Inset with panels of courting couples against a white ground, the rectangular hinged lid surmounted by a handle cast with caryatid putti, cornered by flower-filled cornucopia, the interior lined with blue silk, the body decorated with foliate scrolls and cartouches, the front angles cast with cherubs, on scrolled feet

15 in. (38 cm.) high; 15 in. (38 cm.) wide; 10 ½ in. (26.5 cm.) deep
