A SMALL WHITE JADE RECTANGULAR PENDANT PLAQUE
18TH/19TH CENTURY
One side of the thick plaque is carved in low relief with two boys seated on a large leaf, one leaning on a large gourd, the other swatting at a fly with a fan, and the reverse is carved with a lengthy inscription, junzi pei zhi yong bao zhen, yi er zisun mian mian gua die (The man of complete virtue who wears this will maintain his chastity, his descendent will benefit from it and multiply), followed by a seal, Zigang.
