A SIMULATED AQUAMARINE GLASS SNUFF BOTTLE
PROBABLY IMPERIAL, PALACE WORKSHOPS, BEIJING, 1750-1820
Of well-hollowed, flattened, ovoid form, the bottle is carved on one side with orchid blooms borne on long leafy stems, the reverse with an inscription, yi duan qing xiang you gu li (a faint fragrance from inside the deep valley), followed by a signature, Jingzhai.
2 3/8 in. (6 cm.) high, carved coral and gilt-metal stopper
