The tubular holder has a loop at one end and a flat top carved with a bat above a four-character inscription, zhi ri gao sheng, flanked by two dragons.
Plume holder 3 in. (7.7 cm.) long
Provenance
The Rende Zhai (House of Benevolent Learning) Collection, 1949-1970s, in the United States before 1990.
