Of Topkapi prayer design, woven on silk, uneven wear with associated repiling, a few very small cobbled repairs

The design is taken from the famous 16th century Fletcher prayer rug, now in the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, illustrated by Arthur Upham Pope, A Survey Of Persian Art, Volume XII, Oxford University Press, 1964 p.1167.
