Double-hemisphere world map, colored in a contemporary hand, image 282 x 349 mm (418 x 496 mm sheet). With smaller polar projections in upper corners. (Some minor staining.) Matted, framed and glazed.
Georg Christoph Kilian was a member of the renowned Kilian dynasty of artists and engravers of Augsburg. He was a well know engraver and published several atlases including Kleiner Atlas 1757, Kriegs Atlas 1758, and America Septentrionalis [1760].
