Of typical shape, the stave composed of six openwork sections entrapping small bells, the gold-damascened pommel, pike and blade decorated with intricate foliated scrolling patterns and fern-like motifs, the blade with a curved makara head below, the pommel bearing a coat-of-arms composed of two warriors holding a blazon in devanagari script, a rising sun above, a foliated scroll and calligraphic cartouche in devanagari script below, very good condition
