Opaque pigments and gold on paper, the scene set at night under a stormy sky, lit by candles, the mullahs are nimbed in gold, three other seated men are part of the discussion, laid down on gilt card with polychrome floral decoration between blue floral margins and polychrome rules, Baha al-Din identified with a blue nasta'liq inscription, the reverse with old English identification inscriptions in ink and pencil
