Various names of scribes appear in the text of this ijaza but it seems that the line with the main scribe's name has been erased. The following names appear in the text: al-katib Mustafa, [..] al-Wahbi Haskuwi, 'Umar al-Najib known as al-Yasari a student of Da'ud Khawaja, Hasan al-Hamdi, Turhan al-Rushdi a student of Da'ud al-Tahi, Mahmud al-Hamid a student of Da'ud Khawaja, Muhammad Najib a student of Da'ud al-Khawaja, Husayn Sadiq a student of Da'ud al-Khawaja, Hasan al-Dhuhdi, Mustafa al-Mudhi, Muhammad al-Majid, Abu Bakr in Muhammad 'Uthman known as Imamzadeh, Ibrahim al-Wahbi a student of Da'ud Khawaja, . The scribe of this qit'a, which seems to be Ahmad al-Najib, is praised by these other scribes for having perfected his knowledge of Shaykh Hamdullah's style.
