Of typical form, the slightly curved single-edged blade gold-damascened with calligraphic cartouches containing decorative inscriptions in pseudo-naskh script and erroneously dated AH 1120/1708 AD the forte with elegant scrolling palmette to each side, the repoussé hilt with superposed repeating floral sprays rising from a palmette below, the sheath with further similar decoration
