Comprising twelve forks, twelve spoons, twelve knives, a carving knife and fork, two large serving spoons and six large knives, each piece with assay and sahh, most with stamped tughra, marked with initials 'D T', in fitted wooden box with key

Lot Essay

Abraham Leon was a merchant and cutlery maker established on 190 Solly Street, Sheffield. He exhibited pieces at the Great Exhibition of 1851. He retired in 1881 but his company continued to work until the mid-1890s.
