A gilt-metal and velvet frame containing fourteen portrait miniatures depicting members of the German nobility, including: Charles, Prince of Nassau-Usingen (1712-1775); two portraits of Louise, Landgravine of Hesse-Darmstadt (1729-1818), one by Carl Friedrich Demiani (German, 1768-1823) and her husband George William, Landgrave of Hesse-Darmstadt (1722-1782); Ludwig, Landgrave of Hesse-Darmstadt (1719-1790); Louise, Landgravine of Hesse-Darmstadt (1761-1777); Princess Charlotte of Hesse-Darmstadt, née Countess of Hanau-Lichtenberg; Caroline Augusta of Bavaria (1792-1872); Frederick William I, Elector of Hesse-Cassel (1802-1875) by H. P.
