This plaster cast was taken from the original cast done in 1893 by the then renowned palmist and author of The Graven Palm, a manual of the science of Palmistry, Mrs. A. Robinson. The original cast was handed down to her son, Timothy G. Shore who in turn gave it to writer Sir Compton Mackenzie, OBE (1883-1972).
