A GROUP OF SIX CARVED JADE PLAQUES
MING DYNASTY, (1368-1644)
The group comprises of four oval shaped plaques, each carved and pierced with cranes amongst lotus flowers and foliage, one inset onto a wood box and cover and another onto a wood stand. There are two further square plaques, one carved and pierced with a qilin, the other with deer.
The largest, 3 ? in. (9.2 cm.) wide
