A SMALL GRISSAILLE DECORATED MINIATURE JAR AND COVER
QIANLONG FOUR-CHARACTER SEAL MARK IN IRON-RED AND OF THE PERIOD (1736-1795)
The jar is of square shape with a slightly spreading foliate foot. each side is decorated with figures in garden scenes and mountainous landscapes, all between scrolling floral bands. The slightly domed cover is similarly decorated and is surmounted by a bud finial. The base and interior are turquoise enamelled.
