A LARGE LONGQUAN CELADON CARVED DISH
MING DYNASTY, LATE 14TH/ 15TH CENTURY
The central roundel is impressed with a lattice design, bordered by a flower scroll on the cavetto. The dish is covered in a yellowish-green celadon glaze.

Provenance
Acquired in the 19th century by the Duc et Prince de Blacas (1853-1937), and thence by descent within the family at the Chateau d'Usse, Loire Valley, France.
