A BLUE AND WHITE SLEEVE VASE
TRANSITIONAL PERIOD, CIRCA 1630-1650
The vase is of slightly tapered cylindrical form with a short waisted neck. It is decorated to the body with a continuous scene depicting officials and attendants surrounded by rocky foliage and willow trees, with a mountainous landscape in the background. The neck is encircled with a floral scroll.
