A CELADON AND RUSSET JADE 'PEACH AND FIVE BATS' CARVING

The piece is intricately carved and pierced in high relief to depict a large peach on a meandering leafy branch, with five bats resting on the surface. The stone is of a greenish-celadon tone with attractive cloudy russet inclusions.
