AN ANGLO-INDIAN IVORY-INLAID ROSEWOOD WORK BOX
LATE 18TH/ EARLY 19TH CENTURY
Inlaid overall with foliate and floral scrolls, the rectangular hinged lid decorated with a central floral roundel within blind fret foliate scrolls, opening to an interior fitted with slats to the lid, the rising compartment fitted with a drawer and opening to a writing slope, with carrying handles to the sides
6.1/2 in. (16 cm.) high; 18 in. (46 cm.) wide; 11.1/2 in. (29.5 cm.) deep
