A PALE CELADON JADE PLAQUE
18TH/19TH CENTURY
The rounded rectangular plaque is carved in high relief to one side with a luohan carrying a fan resting on rocks by a tree and a dragon. The reverse is carved in low relief with four stylised confronting dragon and a central archaistic character. The stone is of a celadon tone with some russet inclusions.
