A YIXING PEWTER-ENCASED TEAPOT AND COVER
IMPRESSED YANG PENGNIAN ZAO MARK, THE PEWTER SIGNED ZHU PING AND DATED DINGHAI YEAR, CORRESPONDING TO 1827
The teapot has rounded tapering sides, embellished with a celadon jade handle and spout. One side is decorated with narcissus sprays, the other side is inscribed, signed, and dated. The domed cover is surmounted by a celadon jade finial.
