FIRST EDITION, published anonymously. Reiner was the first to introduce Kant's philosophy to Bavaria. Adickes 1629 -- KANT, I. Der Streit der Facultäten in drey Abschnitten. Königsberg: Friedrich Nicolovius, 1798. 8° (212 x 137mm). (Bookblock split between gathering E and D but stitching holding, a few spots or light stains.) Contains Kant's response to Hufeland's tract Von der Kunst das menschliche Leben zu verlängern. Warda 193 -- KANT, I. Kleine Schriften. Neuwied: J. T. Haupt, 1793. Small 8° (164 x 100mm). (Occasional light spotting or marginal thumb-soiling.) Contemporary boards (rubbed and scuffed). Provenance: old underlining in red towards the end. FIRST EDITION -- And another edition of Kant's Kleine Schriften (Linz, 1795) in contemporary boards.
