PICO DELLA MIRANDOLA, Giovanni (1463-94). Opera Omnia. Venice: Girolamo Scoto, 1557. 2° (306 x 210mm). Woodcut printer's device on title-page, woodcut historiated initials. (Without final blank, final 7 pages with wormtrack affecting text on final 3 pages, occasional light spotting and browning.) Near contemporary vellum gilt, covers decorated in gilt with floral corner-pieces, Jesuit device stamped in gilt on covers, spine gilt with foliate motif, edges gilt (lacking ties, light soiling and rubbing). Provenance: Jesuits (binding) -- Discalced Carmelites, Munich (inscription on title; dissolved 1802) -- Lord Monson (booklabel on back pastedown).
