WITH THE FIFTH PART DEVOTED TO PASTRY. First published in 1596 and reprinted throughout the 17th century, Wecker’s was the first cookbook published by a woman in the German language. The collation of this copy agrees with the 1607 edition, known in only two other copies, at Regensburg (incomplete) and the Bavarian State Library.
