Lot Essay

Henry Lygon was the son of William Lygon, 1st Earl Beauchamp and Catharine Denn. In 1824 he married Lady Susan Caroline Eliot, daughter of William Eliot, 2nd Earl of St Germans and Lady Georgiana Augusta Leveson-Gower. Their daughter Georgiana, married Richard Henry FitzRoy Somerset, 2nd Baron Raglan in 1856.
