Rectangular, the silver-gilt oklad repoussé with the scene depicting Mother of God resting on a bier, with a brocade cover, surrounded by the Apostles, the upright figure of Christ and angels dominating background, holding the soul of his Mother in the form of an infant, portrayed realistically, the borders of the silver-gilt oklad engraved with a foliate scrolls, the corners, the haloes of Christ and his Mother in fine polychrome cloisonné enamel, marked on lower edge
