A pair of Romano-Egyptian gold and pearl earrings
comprising an S-shaped tapered wire hoop threaded with three or four seed pearls, the hoop with incised rings and zigzag bands, a beaded collar at broader end below pearls -- 1½in. (3.2cm.) high max.; a single S-shaped gold earring, similar, threaded with two small gold spool beads one with granulation, below these the gold wire terminal twists back around the flattened hoop forming a loop to suspend a pendant (now missing) -- 1in. (2.5cm.) high; and a single earring comprising a twisted gold wire tapered hoop with an inverted pyramid of granules below -- 1.9cm. high, all circa 1st-2nd Century A.D.
