With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with silvered dial and gold indexes in 1951 and its subsequent sale on 11 January 1952.

Reference 2452 was made in two series, the first with calibre 10'''200, from 1949 until around 1951. Production of the second series featuring calibre 12'''400, started in 1950 and was discontinued around 1958.
