A Predynastic red-ware tall pottery storage jar
the long tapering body with curved rim at mouth, rounded base -- 17¼in. (44cm.) high, Naqada III/Dynasty I (3000-2575 B.C.); a Predynastic burnished red-ware pottery vessel, the ovoid body with flat circular base, restricted neck and flared rim -- 10½in. (26.6cm.) high, Naqada II, circa 4000-3000 B.C.; and a Predynastic pottery 'wavy-line' jar, the cylindrical body tapered towards circular base, with wavy line in raised relief around shoulder, everted rim -- 8¾in. (22.2cm.) high, Naqada III, circa 3000 B.C.
