A CARVED WHITE JADE 'DRAGON' AXESHAPED PENDANT
QING DYNASTY, 18TH CENTURY
The irregularly-shaped stone is carved and pierced with an archaistic dragon surmounting an axe decorated with swirl motifs. The stone is of an even, milky white tone with an attractive lustre, with a small area of russet along one edge.
