Only one other clock of the same design is recorded, the movement by Maniere, in the Nissim de Camondo Museum (and illustrated here). The figural group, traditionally attributed to Clodion, is after a terracotta model by Jean-Joseph Foucou (1739-1815) ‘Bacchante portant un satyre enfant sur l’epaule gauche’ in the Beaux-Arts Museum, Orleans.
