2 parts in 1 volume, 4° (210 x 155mm). Title within elaborate engraved border with ten circular emblems, 50 large circular emblems in each part, woodcut head- and tail-piece, woodcut initials. (Lacking repeated engraved title in second part, some leaves shaved at top margin, occasional soiling.) Modern blind-stamped brown morocco, gilt title on spine (some light rubbing). Provenance: A.H. Bright (booklabel).
A RARE FIRST EDITION with numerous woodcut emblems. Only two copies are recorded as having sold at auction on ABPC/AE on-line, in 1981 and 1959. Landwehr German, 140.
