12° (162 x 90mm). Folding engraved frontispiece, 7 folding engraved plates containing 19 illustrations, with 5 advertisement leaves at end. (Lacks half-title, occasional light spotting or browning.) Mottled calf by Kalthoeber, Greek style gilt border on sides, flat spine with red morocco lettering-pieces, gilt compartments, gilt edges (quite rubbed). Provenance: BECKFORD COPY (Hamilton Palace sale, 13 July 1882, lot 2700, 'To Quaritch for £4 and transferred to J.B.').
