Early 20th-century dark-brown crushed morocco by Birdsall, covers paneled in blind, spine lettered in gilt, gilt edges. Provenance: S.A. Thompson Yates (bookplate).

FIRST EDITION of Ortelius's account of his tour of the antiquities of the Low Countries, made with Joannes Vivianus, a French merchant and humanist, in 1575. The account is addressed to Gerard Mercator. Voet 1837.
