4° (205 x 138mm). Woodcut initials. (Occasional light staining and soiling.) Mottled calf by Herny Young & Sons, gilt panels, spine, turn-ins and edges. Provenance: erased ownership inscription on title and A2, early annotations.
A RARE early edition. Only two copies recorded as having sold at auction on ABPC/AE online in 1967 and 1983. The first edition was published in Venice in 1505. Adams B-450 (first edition only).
