The bell-top case with pine cone finials, the painted dial signed G.M.METCALFE/LONDRES, with STRIKE/SILENT to arch, date aperture and Roman chapter ring, the two train fusee movement with verge escapement, striking on a bell, the back plate engraved and with conforming signature, with pendulum lock; winding key; together with a copy of H.Alan Lloyd's Chats on Old Clocks
