AN ENGLISH SILVER MOUNTED LEATHER TANKARD

Of cylindrical form with loop handle, the silver mounted rim stamped with maker's mark of P.I within an oval punch and scratch weight mark, the cartouche with an engraved coat of arms, the underside with ink inscribed label for 'This "Black Jack" belonged to Henry King Bishop of Chichester 1642-1669'
