The pair seated on lotus blossoms within ornate columned niches with their hands in dharmachakramudra, Buddha dressed in a sanghati draped over one shoulder, his hair pulled back over the ushnisha, Maitreya dressed in a dhoti and adorned with various necklaces, his hair gathered in a topknot
