Lot Essay

Xiang Dicong was a university professor and member of the Tongmenghui. One of his brothers, Dizhang, was involved in the Xinhai Protection Movement in Sichuan province; his other brother, Dihuang, studied in France, where he acquired a degree in electrical engineering.
