A SMALL LONGQUAN CELADON JAR AND COVER
SOUTHERN SONG DYNASTY (1127-1279)
The jar is delicately potted with a compressed globular body and a flat circular cover. Both jar and cover are covered with a transparent pale green glaze suffused with a network of lighter crackle. The mouth rim, base and interior rim of the cover are left unglazed.
