A LARGE BLUE AND WHITE 'DRAGON' DISH
WANLI SIX-CHARACTER MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE WITHIN A DOUBLE CIRCLE AND OF THE PERIOD (1573-1619)
The interior of the dish is decorated in the center with two confronted, five-clawed dragons leaping amidst flames and clouds in pursuit of a flaming pearl below two pairs of further dragons at a similar pursuit in the well, the exterior is decorated with a band of lotus petal lappets.
