A COPPER-RED AND UNDERGLAZE BLUE-DECORATED BOTTLE VASE
KANGXI PERIOD (1662-1722)
The vase has a tall slender neck and ovoid body decorated in underglaze red of soft mottled greyish tones spotted in green with three mythical beasts, two seated and one recumbent, the pupils of their eyes painted in underglaze blue. The convex base is unglazed.
