Made for a censor, the badge is finely worked in satin stitch with a mythical beast (xiezhi) with head turned back and mouth open in a roar, standing on a grassy promontory amidst rolling waves, jagged rocks, and scrolling clouds, all in shades of green, blue, yellow, white, and purple on a midnight-blue ground.
