A YELLOW SERPENTINE SNUFF BOTTLE

The well-hollowed bottle is of compressed rounded form and is raised on a shallow concave foot. The softly polished stone is of an even, amber-yellow tone.
2 1/8 in. (5.8 cm.) high, agate stopper
Provenance
John Paul Rappolt (1913-2003), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, acquired in Philadelphia, 1966, and thence by descent to the present owner.
